NAIRI NAJARIAN - SENIOR DIRECTOR, MARKETING 

Q: MONDAYS ARE TOUGH NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU LOVE YOUR JOB. WHAT IS YOUR GO-TO MONDAY LOOK?  

A straight-leg jean (the silhouette feels more polished), a crisp white t-shirt, and a boxy blazer. I like what's simple, but I also like volume and tailored lines. It's about what's reliable and repeatable for me, a uniform basically. If it takes longer than five minutes to put something together, then I know I'm thinking too hard.  

Q: WHEN HOSTING CREATE & CULTIVATE EVENTS, HOW DO YOU DECIDE ON AN OFF-SITE OUTFIT THAT WILL KEEP YOU COMFORTABLE AND FEELING GOOD? 

That exciting energy you find at every Create & Cultivate event is always there. The day never slows down, and we don't want it to! So, comfy footwear is key. So far, for me, it would be a pair of Veja sneakers, jeans, and a muted t-shirt.  

Q: WITH THE EVER-SHIFTING RULES OF OFFICE ATTIRE, WHAT DRESS CODE DOES THE CREATE & CULTIVATE OFFICE FOLLOW OR NOT FOLLOW? 

I'm seeing more short suits in the office lately. Not mad at it. 

Q: IT'S PRESENTATION DAY! YOU'VE BEEN PREPARING FOR THIS MEETING FOR WEEKS, WHAT IS THE POWER OUTFIT THAT MAKES YOUR FEEL CONFIDENT IN FRONT OF THE EXEC TEAM? 

I'm obsessed with robe coats and long jackets - it adds a little theater to things. 

Q: WHAT IS YOUR IDEAL OUTFIT THAT CAN TAKE YOU FROM WORK TO HAPPY HOUR? 

If i'm going straight from the office to a happy hour or dinner, probably a little faux leather jacket.  

Q: AS THE TEMPERATURE RISES IN LA THIS SUMMER, WHAT WARDROBE ESSENTIALS KEEP YOU COOL AT WORK? 

Definitely more dresses. One-and-done.
