In addition to manufacturing PPE for those on the frontlines, fashion brands are also responding by creating protective masks for the general public in response to new recommendations from the CDC. According to the CDC website, "CDC recommends wearing cloth face coverings in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain (e.g., grocery stores and pharmacies) especially in areas of significant community-based transmission."
